Girl Scout Leadership Experience Facilitator
 
 
 
Key Responsibilities: Program Facilitation: Lead and facilitate youth-led, high-quality, badge-earning programming that aligns with the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Programs emphasize holistic well-being, career exploration, workforce development, and civic leadership. Supportive Mentoring: Provide mentorship and guidance to girls, helping them develop skills in goal-setting, decision-making, and community engagement through hands-on activities and cooperative learning. Community Engagement: Engage volunteers and recruit new Girl Scouts from diverse backgrounds and communities. Foster a welcoming environment that encourages participation and supports the growth of membership. Educational Impact: Implement evidence-based programming that supplements STEM and ELA standards, supporting educational initiatives such as Governor McKee’s Learn365RI. Organizational Growth: Make a lasting impact on Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England by contributing to the organization’s growth and community impact.

Member Duties : At GSSNE, AmeriCorps team members will coordinate programs and run short-term troops that engage youth in social and emotional skill building, increasing confidence, building healthy relationships, and seeking challenges. In addition to working directly with youth, you will help promote Girl Scout enrollment by helping to coordinate events and attend school assemblies, PTO, or parent meetings. AmeriCorps members will gain marketable professional experience and be given professional development opportunities throughout the year, both in person and online
