The VISTA Member at Cross Over Community Development (COCD) will serve as a Social Media Manager and Partner Relationship Coordinator. This role is crucial in enhancing the organization’s online presence and fostering partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and educational institutions. The VISTA Member will develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with COCD’s mission and objectives, creating and curating engaging content for various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. They will monitor social media trends and leverage these for effective community engagement and outreach, regularly updating and managing COCD’s social media calendar to ensure timely and relevant content. The VISTA Member will analyze and report on social media performance metrics to gauge the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns. In addition to social media management, the VISTA Member will cultivate and maintain relationships with COCD’s partners, coordinating collaborative events, programs, and initiatives that benefit COCD’s target population. They will facilitate communication between COCD and its partners, ensuring mutual goals and expectations are understood and met, while also identifying and engaging potential new partners to expand COCD’s network and impact. Managing and organizing partnership data and maintaining accurate records will also be key responsibilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop essential skills in digital communication, strategic thinking, networking, and project management, all while making a significant impact on the lives of immigrant and refugee families in the Greater Dayton area.
