26-27 Thurston Co. Food Bank Satellite Program Support
 
 
 
This is an AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. Thurston County Food Bank (TCFB) is committed to eliminating hunger in our community through neighbor-helping-neighbor service. TCFB serves more than 71,000 community members annually through pantries, satellite and mobile programs, home delivery, and partnerships with regional agencies. AmeriCorps members play a critical role in expanding access to nutritious food while supporting dignity, equity, and community resilience. The member supports the mission of the Thurston County Food Bank by helping expand access to nutritious food through satellite, mobile, and home delivery programs We expect to begin rolling review of applications and interviews in mid-late July. Monthly stipend amount: $2,438.

Member Duties : The Satellite Program Support Member will strengthen TCFB service to clients. They will help prepare and distribute food; support delivery routes and mobile distribution; train and support volunteers; participate in community partner events, meetings, and professional development while contributing as an active team member.
