Blueprint AmeriCorps Math Fellowship

The Blueprint AmeriCorps Math Fellow program is dedicated to closing the achievement gap in mathematics for students in underserved communities. Our mission is to provide individualized math instruction that enhances academic performance and also instills a lifelong love for learning. We aim to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. As a Blueprint AmeriCorps Math Fellow, you will join a passionate team of educators who are committed to making a tangible difference in students' lives. This role involves providing small-group tutoring sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of each student. By focusing on personalized support, Math Fellows help to identify and address learning gaps, build foundational skills, and boost student confidence in their mathematical abilities. Our program is structured to offer robust support to both students and fellows. Math Fellows receive comprehensive training and ongoing professional development to equip them with effective instructional strategies and classroom management skills. Fellows benefit from continuous coaching and feedback, ensuring they are well-prepared to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. Math Fellows are placed in schools where they work closely with staff to integrate their tutoring efforts with the broader curriculum. This collaborative approach helps create a cohesive learning environment that supports student success. Fellows have the opportunity to build strong relationships with students, serving not only as tutors but also as mentors and role models. Fellows are given the chance to develop valuable professional skills, expand their network, and make lasting contributions to the communities they serve. The program also offers a living stipend, an education award upon completion, and the opportunity to gain valuable experience that is highly regarded by employers and educational institutions.
