EngageCorps VISTA at Raritan Valley Communtiy College

The Resource Center and Food Pantry (“The Center”) aim to bring together resources to empower RVCC’s under-resourced students. Together, these internal and external constituencies work toward reducing barriers for underresourced students. The Center to expand its outreach to students, reduce the stigma surrounding food insecurity, purchase equipment that will support healthier food options, and increase the current and future food supply. It will also increase the operating efficiency of The Center by providing a technology solution that better integrates with the local food pantries and tracks usage data. The additional staffing resources will allow the necessary time to develop sustainable community partnerships further so the Center can continue flourishing.
