Lookout Mountain Conservancy (LMC) leads the way in community-centered conservation and environmental education by providing equitable and inclusive access to the Mountain’s natural beauty, wildlife habitats, recreational opportunities, and places of historical significance. LMC focuses on conservation and education to preserve Lookout Mountain’s critical habitats while fostering workforce development among urban teens.

Member Duties : • Identify and implement a data collection system for metrics related to participants in LMC’s Howard School Leadership Program • Gather and input data on all current and past participants of LMC’s Howard School Leadership Program • Review research and literature and relevant standards related to outdoor programming and project-based learning with disadvantaged youths • Establish quantitative and qualitative program metrics and data collection and evaluation methods • Develop program curricula for The Howard School Leadership Program that fosters participant success according to desired programmatic outcomes and key performance indicators • Monitor curriculum implementation and collect, track, and evaluate data based on identified metrics • Identify funding needs and opportunities for LMC’s Howard School Leadership Program curriculum design and implementation
