VISTA will implement and manage Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties' Diaper Bank program, analyzing processes for needed improvements. VISTA will assist with scheduling and recruiting volunteers to further build the capacity of the organization. VISTA will assist in the implementation of events and provide support in outreach efforts. VISTA will manage, create, and build upon the processes involving the Hunger Network by implementing best practices to increase the efficiency and capacity of the organization to assist the underserved in our community. This VISTA position is a part of Catholic Charities USA’s Family Strengthening Program, a national intermediary project. As a member, you will meet virtually with VISTA Leaders and other VISTAs serving throughout the country, all focused on alleviating poverty.

Member Duties : The VISTA will serve as a vital member of the organization by implementing the Diaper Bank program. To help increase the capacity of the organization, the VISTA will assist with the recruitment and scheduling of volunteers and the creation of volunteer events. The VISTA will implement, manage, and improve processes for the Shiawassee Hunger Network program.
