2024 Story Tapestries After School Program VISTA

Expand after school programs for an arts service nonprofit that designs accessible, inclusive programs that use the arts to develop academic, arts & social-emotional learning for students of all ages. Story Tapestries focuses on providing access to the arts for all ages, especially in communities experiencing disparities and economic challenges. Programs use the arts to help communities identify their strengths, transforming individuals and the community as a whole. The VISTA will build relationships with the current sites Story Tapestries works with, and will work with these sites to coordinate existing out-of-school-time programs including after-school enrichment sessions and family and community engagement events. The VISTA will be provided with additional contacts at schools targeted for expansion, and will work to build relationships to offer programs at new school sites.
