Nonprofit Relations VISTA
 
 
 
Under the supervision of the Nonprofit Relations Coordinator, the Nonprofit Relations VISTA will build capacity for L.A. Works and partner organizations by developing volunteer management guides and trainings that will share our organizational expertise.

Member Duties : As the Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at L.A. Works, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our volunteer programs. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive volunteer management guides and trainings for both L.A. Works staff and external partners, ensuring efficient and impactful volunteer recruitment and engagement. You will also oversee the organization of bi-monthly DOVIA activities and our annual DOVIA-LA conference, from curriculum development to logistical arrangements. In addition, you will lead efforts to streamline communication by standardizing impact area webpages, compiling information for newsletters and member resources, and supporting the coordination of Days of Service initiatives. Your role will be integral in guiding volunteers to actively contribute to economic opportunities and healthy futures, while implementing processes for tracking participation and impact.
