Community Engagement and Volunteer Leader- OPEN

The Hands On Nashville AmeriCorps Program is looking for enthusiastic members with an interest in volunteerism and community outreach to become a Community Engagement and Volunteer Leader. Members will join a group of college-aged individuals who have a desire to impact their local community and grow their professional experience. Once placed at a local nonprofit, members use their skills and training to foster community engagement and oversee volunteers and projects. Members must be confident taking initiative, enjoy working with people, have strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, and be comfortable with public speaking. Each host site placement is unique and will engage members differently based on community needs and the organizations’ goals. Community Engagement and Volunteer Leaders will develop outreach skills through training and active service in the community, gain marketable experience and grow their professional networks, while making a meaningful difference in their communities. A year of service can change our community — and you!
