PHENND Fellows-Sustainability Outreach and Engagement Fellow

Sustainable Business Network is a non-profit organization that strives to build a just, green, and thriving local economy in the Greater Philadelphia region. We support the independent business community to build profitable enterprises that serve community needs, share wealth, and protect the environment. Since its founding in 2001, SBN has established itself as the thought and practice leader in the local impact economy movement and is the region's only membership and advocacy organization playing the critical role of serving Greater Philadelphia's independent triple bottom line business community.

Member Duties : The overall goal of the VISTA Fellow is to help spearhead SBN’s external communication strategies while also playing an integral part of our multiyear effort to identify, recruit, and design programming for BIPOC-, women-, immigrant-, and veteran-owned businesses that work in climate-resilient industries such as food, energy, water, and urban forestry. In the first year, the VISTA will create a membership strategy plan inclusive of survey demographics of diverse businesses in climate resilient industries within Greater Philadelphia, a marketing strategy that will include both grassroots and social media marketing to target businesses, and communications plan that will include messaging to reach their businesses.
