2025 - CAN: Educational Resource Development for K-12 Youth

The goal of CAN's educational programs is to support the children CAN partners with so they will achieve their highest academic potential and become self-supporting, well-adjusted adults. As a part of CAN's after-school programs and educational summer camps, the youth participate in a variety of rotations including, but not limited to, homework, math, reading, writing, mindfulness and other social-emotional learning activities, art & design, and many other forms of enrichment as well as meals and snacks. CAN VISTAs are a major part of developing and facilitating high-quality curricula, lesson plans, staff training processes, policies and procedures, and increasing capacity at the community centers. VISTAs at CAN will contribute to an environment where all collaborators feel welcome and valued, are optimally and productively engaged, and have the resources to accomplish their goals.
