Volunteer Coordinator- AmeriCorps VISTA
 
 
 
This position can be located in either Reno or Las Vegas, Nevada. The AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer Coordinator supports the Administrative Manager in coordinating volunteers for the Western or Southern Nevada Affiliates located in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada. Responsibilities include scheduling volunteers, facilitating onboarding, collaborating on event planning, managing volunteers during events, and processing volunteer forms.

Member Duties : As the Volunteer Coordinator VISTA member at Communities In Schools of Nevada’s Western and Southern Nevada affiliates located in either Reno or Las Vegas Nevada, you will help with our mission to help children unlock the unlimited potential they have but which may not be accessible to them due to inequities of opportunities to succeed. Your work will focus on actively recruiting and coordinating volunteers, data entry in Donor Perfect and SharePoint, while focusing on the future sustainability of the program.
