Family Promise of HawaiiCommunity Engagement and Development
 
 
 
Family Promise of Hawaii (FPH) prevents and ends homelessness for families with children on Oahu. FPH provides a holistic and compassionate approach to help families quickly return to permanent housing and achieve sustainable independence. The VISTA member will build FPH's capacity to engage and raise community members' awareness by updating and implementing effective, sustainable community outreach and engagement strategies, increasing volunteer engagement and opportunities, and enhancing FPH's marketing.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will help to increase awareness and engagement among community members, such as fundraising activities, creating online presence, conducting storytelling projects, and assisting with event planning and coordination. The VISTA member will help expand volunteer opportunities, including recruiting, retaining, and recording hours.
