PCCE-Bucknell University (Food Security) VISTA

Our Mission is to provide opportunities, strengthen communities, and provide an array of resources that promote self-sufficiency and community prosperity. There are 9.6% of households who have no motor vehicle to access food sources; i.e., grocery stores and/or food pantries in the county. As part of the solution to food insecurity in the county, a VISTA member can examine best practices at various food pantries along with reviewing the results of the Central PA Food Bank Hunger Mapping Project with recommendations to build capacity around food security in Northumberland County!
