| Member Duties : AmeriCorps members will be partnered with community-based organizations that are responding to public health needs through food security and resource navigation. Members will focus on projects that build capacity for their organizations while receiving professional training as Community Health Workers. Examples of capacity building projects include developing new programs or services, education and outreach activities, creating systems to improve program efficiency or effectiveness, and conducting research to strengthen an organization's ability to meet community needs.
