ReFuel Coordinator- Food Insecurity
 
 
 
Miami Regional locations include three community-based campuses of Miami University. We provide a world-renowned liberal arts foundation, various applied degree options, and a high-quality Miami education at an affordable price. The ReFuel Coordinator - Food Insecurity focus member coordinates the Miami Regionals food pantry, collaborates with community resources, and provides food insecurity education to the campus community. Member activities will include the following: Managing the food panty and ReFuel requests, procuring perishable, shelf-stable foods and personal aid products through campus drives and collaborations with community resources, conscientiously marketing the Regional food pantry, and providing the community with food insecurity education and programming. Miami Regional’s VISTA program is looking for people dedicated to building a collective greater good to transform our communities. VISTA’s will partner with Miami Regional departments and professionals to establish a food pantry on campus. This endeavor will include relationship building within the campus community and among community partners, developing and implementing a marketing plan, and managing a multifaceted project. The VISTA will develop marketable, transitional skills that are valued in the public and private employment marketplace. Join us and make a difference for students, the community, and yourself.
