Who we are: The Regional Office of Academic Advising is a dedicated group of professional Academic Advisors. Our mission is to provide guidance and support to Undergraduate Students at the Miami Regional’s two campuses. We support student retention though case load management, major selection support, Courses in Common for new first year students and an individualized approach to advising. Where we are located: We have offices on the Miami Regionals Middletown Campus and the Miami Regionals Hamilton Campus. This position will work at the Hamilton Ohio campus, but will have contact with staff from all Regional Campuses, and may have the opportunity to visit the Middletown Ohio Location. Member Duties : As an Outreach Assistant, your primary mission will be to enhance student retention and success. You will engage in weekly campus outreach initiatives to connect with students from various backgrounds, understand their unique challenges, and provide them with the resources and guidance they need to thrive and graduate. Your responsibilities will include: Building meaningful relationships with students and serving as a vital link between them and our office. Collaborating with academic advisors to develop tailored retention strategies for Miami Regional Students. Promoting a culture of inclusivity and equity through effective communication and events.
