VISTA CIT Outreach Coordinator
 
 
 
Community Investment Trust (CIT) offers a long-term path to collective, communal ownership of real-estate for investors from $10 - $100 per month. We provide accessible investment resources in redlined communities, organize inclusive business development educational programming, and serve as a resource to the community through thoughtful recruitment of tenant businesses and delivery of community programming that serve expressed community needs.

Member Duties : The VISTA, serving as the Outreach Coordinator, will support the launch of Owing to Owning in the Capital Region through community investor outreach, class facilitator support, communication with students who finish the class, and organizing programming related to community investment like the annual dinner. This position also involves some social media content creation and fundraising/grant writing support. The member will assist the director of operations in the launch of the CIT Owing to Owning financial action class, support programming for investors like the annual dinner, create/implement processes for investor onboarding, create marketing materials with our marketing consultants, and engage in data collection to be used in grant writing and reporting. Support market research related to recruiting and supporting community businesses that fill the needs of the neighborhood.
