Student Success Coach Assistant
 
 
 
This position will assist the student success coach in the following key Responsibilities: 1- Provide one-on-one coaching to students to help them set and achieve academic goals, develop study skills, and create effective study plan. 2- Offer mentorship and support to students in developing study skills, such as time management, note taking, planning and organization, and stress management. 3- Offer individualized plans to students based on their different needs. 4- Regularly track and assess students’ progress and academic performance, identify areas of improvement and implementing strategies for success. 5- Connect students with the resources and services they need, such as tutoring, counseling, and academic advising, both off and on campus. 6- Identify potential problems and assist the HSSC to intervene as necessary to ensure students' success.  7- Maintain open and proactive communication with students, through weekly one-on-one meetings to provide on going support and encouragement. 8- Keep record of students’ grades, progress and problems and use this data to inform program improvements and interventions. 9- Share, update, and report to the Success coach issues, students’ progress, and needs to ensure comprehensive plans for student success. Qualifications: 1- Bachelor’s degree I n education, counseling, psychology, or related field. 2- Strong communication skills 3- Empathetic, patient, and passionate about helping students succeed 4- Ability to relate well to students from different backgrounds. 5- Familiarity with academic resources and services.

Member Duties : The assistant to the Student Success Coach offers crucial support to the Early College Academy (ECA) Student Success Coach, main duties will involve providing necessary assistance to students, offering guidance, and delivering educational support as needed.
