Member Duties : Members who serve as Family Navigators will provide education, guidance, resources. They will assist families in navigating the mental/behavioral healthcare system, connect families to NMK program and services, refer families to outside services when necessary.
Members who serve as Peer Support promote hope and acceptance by sharing their story of lived experience and help to increase perception of harm of drugs including opioid and prescription misuse, increasing hope among youth who are struggling, and developing effective communication skills.
