Renesting Project Development Coordinator VISTA

• VISTAs will evaluate current program activities (methods of communication, application processes, scheduling processes, document retention, etc.) and develop written procedural manuals for these activities; will develop a reporting system to track the impact of Renesting Project services; will research available funding opportunities in the Northwest Louisiana region. • VISTA’s work will enhance capacity by creating documents that will be used to train future employees on program activities, developing and implementing an impact report system to track post-service data that will improve future annual program evaluations, and researching best industry practices for diverse organizational income by locating grant opportunities and networking with local business about fundraising opportunities.

Member Duties : VISTA’s work will help alleviate poverty by providing furniture and household items to individuals and families who were previously homeless or at risk of becoming homeless as they make the critical move back into housing. This service allows clients with limited resources to invest in other items needed to stabilize their lives and support a healthy, productive, and dignified livable space in which they can begin to move past previous traumas. With the Director and staff, VISTA will: • Develop a written procedural manual for program activities • Develop an impact report system to communicate program effectiveness • Research methods for diversifying organizational funding
