Grace Place's Grants and Services Researcher VISTA

Montrose Grace Place is a grassroots non-profit organization that - above all else - works to provide a safe, welcoming environment for Houston’s unhoused youth and young adults of all sexualities and gender identities. We recognize the disproportionate number of LGBTQ+ youth under 25 years old who are experiencing homelessness compared to the general population, and we tailor our services to be both inclusive and affirming. The VISTA member will help build a brand new and sustainable grants management process through research, creativity, and a commitment to fund new opportunities and services for our youth participants. In helping Grace Place build our services capacity, this project will create innovative solutions that will strengthen our program’s ability to serve our young beneficiaries so that we can assist in our community’s goal of making youth homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring, while also building alliances.
