Property Management VISTA
 
 
 
The Facilities Management Team is part of the Regenerative Community Development Initiative. The Property Management VISTA will work with low-income families and develop resource guides and case management approaches to help people keep their housing. Support Regenerative Community Development in Environmental Sustainability by researching environmentally friendly weed and pest control procedures and products. Research successful seasonal property to maintain practices and best practices for water waste reduction. Develop and pilot environmental sustainable infrastructure, grounds and building maintenance plans. Gain an understanding of staff roles and responsibilities regarding facilities management to better understand staff time spent on maintenance tasks. Increase Capacity Building by providing for the proper functioning and maintenance which will better contribute towards data systems and evaluations.

Member Duties : Increase Capacity Building and support Regenerative Community Development in Environmental Sustainability. Participate in orientation process for VISTA's. Participate in local, onsite orientation process to learn more about Thunder Valley CDC, the Oglala Sioux Tribe Land Office, the Pine Ridge Promise Zone, and the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and Oglala Lakota History.
