Members will work directly with students, implementing effective support strategies while collaborating with families and schools to promote student success. Members will gain practical experience, skill development, and networking opportunities.

Member Duties : Student Support Responsibilities Maintain a caseload of 2-5 students Assist with intake and assessments Facilitate weekly student meetings focused on skill-building Implement structured, research-supported strategies Provide academic support and assist with problem-solving and goal setting Facilitate communication between families, schools, and community partners Coordinate with school staff and local service providers Attend supervisory meetings as needed Complete weekly documentation and progress reports AmeriCorps Service Project Complete an AmeriCorps service project, which may include: Planning and implementing outreach activities Presenting to university students, distributing informational materials, and assisting with recruitment efforts Coordinating initiatives that strengthen program outreach Supporting community-based events aligned with program goals Collecting and analyzing data to inform program development and improvement
