AmeriCorps Youth Transition Project

Individuals with intellectual/developmental differences (I/DD) are the largest minority group and have extremely high rates of poverty. AmeriCorps members come together to work with this community on bettering their lives and outcomes, as well as mentor them in building critical independent living skills. AmeriCorps members spend their service year creating meaningful relationships with their team and with The Arc Jacksonville family. If you are interested in having a positive impact on your community, this is the opportunity for you!
