2024 MENTOR MD|DC -Workplace Mentoring VISTA
 
 
 
MENTOR Maryland | DC serves as the catalyst and leader for quality mentoring in Baltimore and in Maryland and are uniquely positioned to work with local organizations to increase their capacity, effectiveness and provide relevant and customized evidence-based training, technical assistance and support. We are intent on making progress towards closing the mentoring gap and ensuring that all mentoring relationships in Baltimore and throughout Maryland are safe and effective. The goal of the Workplace Mentoring VISTA is to assist the organization in increasing workplace mentoring opportunities and workplace mentoring relationships for young people across Maryland and DC.

Member Duties : The VISTA will research and build relationships with stakeholders in Maryland, including corporations, work-based learning programs within school districts, and workforce development programs. The VISTA will become versed in mentoring best practices, specific to workplace mentoring (EEPM5, CFG), to build MENTOR MD|DC internal capacity. The VISTA will increase participation of workplace mentoring programs in the Mentoring Connector Database.
