STL Foodbank Equitable Access Member
 
 
 
The Equitable Access Member will support the organization by focusing on increasing food security for neighbors in areas lacking access points and growing capacity for the Foodbanks current Non-Traditional Partners. The member will research all available resources in the communities we serve and connect neighbors attending those distributions with additional resources addressing all needs that neighbors lack. The Equitable Access Member will also help collect, interpret, and report on program evaluations to ensure our programs are operating at full capacity and efficiency. Essential functions: • Support the collection and evaluation of program surveys. • Research areas in service territory that lack food access points and develop plan to launch appropriate program for community • Support efforts to update and maintain policy manuals and standard operating procedures • Partner with other team members to incorporate educational opportunities for additional resources at all distributions

Member Duties : •Attend weekly distributions to help provide support to the Equitable Access Team •Support the collection and evaluation of program surveys. Helping build impact and areas for growth report •Research areas in service territory that lack food access points and develop plan to launch appropriate program for community •Support efforts to update and maintain policy manuals and standard operating procedures •Partner with other team members to incorporate educational opportunities for additional resources at all distributions •Develop additional resource guides for each area that the Foodbank currently has a distribution scheduled in •Grow awareness of Foodbank programming in the communities we serve to better serve those neighbors •Compile program partner best practices and identify best practices that may be used across the network of program partners •Research ongoing program capacity development practices and tools used across the Feeding America network
