2024 Community Bridges Alumnae Engagement

The Community Bridges Girls Alumnae Program ensures alumnae receive the educational, social and emotional support they need to break the cycle of poverty while in and after college. The overall goal of this AmeriCorps VISTA project is to expand the CB Alumnae program so that it can benefit all our alumnae, especially the ones that are currently still in college. A curriculum focused on college readiness and college success will be developed and implemented in partnership the CB Program Managers. Community Bridges envisions a blended community where each person is valued and has the opportunity and inspiration to take action to improve themselves and the world around them. We contribute to our vision of community by advancing positive outcomes for girls, families, alumnae and communities. Community Bridges believes that every girl has the potential to succeed when she gains resources and exposure to every opportunity within her reach. We believe that through bridging the school, the community, the families our alumnae and nonprofits together, we can support each girl in achieving her goals.
