C2C Equitable Pathways Summer Bridge Specialist
 
 
 
In partnership with Oregon Volunteers and the Corporation for National and Community Service, Campus Compact of Oregon's Connect2Complete: Equitable Pathways Summer Bridge AmeriCorps program places AmeriCorps members at community colleges across Oregon, to connect with and support high school seniors who are expected to attend a community college in the fall. Members will support newly-enrolled community college students throughout the summer to help ensure students have what they need to enroll and attend classes when term begins. Current community college sites that potential AmeriCorps members can be placed are, Lane Community College (Eugene, Oregon).

Member Duties : The primary function will be to engage students in service learning opportunities and to develop and maintain relationships with high school graduates who will be attending your campus in the coming fall. Through building relationships with these incoming students, an additional function would be orienting them to the campus and facilitating their relationships with other departments/individuals on campus. C2C Summer Bridge AmeriCorps Members will report to Campus Compact of Oregon’s AmeriCorps Program Director and placement site supervisors. All members must complete 450 hours of service within the months of enrollment in the C2C program.
