HOPE Agency VISTA Workforce Capacity Coordinator
 
 
 
HOPE Agency is looking for an enthusiastic individual that has a passion for making the world a little brighter. This project includes the following needs: 1. Youth Recruitment: Create partnerships with schools and at-risk youth to either volunteer or work at the industry, specifically a doggie daycare. 2. Research: Find what other states or countries are doing to attract youth to various careers, specifically human services. Investigate other industry concepts, funding opportunities, best practices, and innovative strategies for recruitment into human services. 3. Volunteer Management: Create and implement a volunteer management system to help with mission sustainability and community connectivity. Find ways to market opportunities, communicate with stakeholders and increase overall presence in the community. This position is hybrid - part teleservice, part in-person. Candidate must live in or around the greater Des Moines area. Position open until filled. Start date can be flexible.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will implement business plan for PawsAbilities including site specifications, code requirements, health regulations. If you are interested in learning more about how to start a business, this is a on-the-job opportunity! VISTA member will attract and retain talent that are interested in being a part of this industry. This includes finding community partnerships to relay back to HOPE Team; finding grants for financial stability; and finding youth for volunteer/employment opportunities.
