The Charleston Area Service Collaborative is comprised of 20 non-profits all dedicated to fighting poverty and providing opportunity for their clients. We have opportunities in the areas of Health, Economic Opportunity, and Education. For all our positions, we seek motivated individuals who are ready to serve. Our sites all provide an excellent professional development opportunity, and we look forward to finding the right fit for you! Member Duties : VISTA members placed with a site in the Charleston Area Service Collaborative will each have their own project to complete for their organization or agency. Our sites have all completed a project plan and each position will have its own VISTA Assignment Description working in the area of Health, Economic Empowerment, or Education. All of our projects focus on building and strengthening systems within organizations to build their capacity and make them more effective and efficient. Members are also part of a team of 20 members who meet monthly to encourage each other and build professional relationships. We seek to provide professional development and training for all our members- the member experience is the top priority for the Charleston Area Service Collaborative!
