Eco3.23 Summer Fond du Lac Agriculture VISTA

Fond du Lac Agricultural Division is seeking individuals to assist in caring for gardens, harvesting produce, soil building projects, managing pollinator gardens, seed saving, learning and managing garden pests, and guiding tours and/or finding volunteers to give tours of our Gitigaaning (The Place of the Gardens) and Na’enimonigamig (commercial kitchen/cannery). Any previous knowledge of the above is a plus, but not a requirement as long as you have a passion for food sovereignty and indigenous food ways. The majority of the time spent in this position will be in the field, so the ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions is important. The position would start in June (exact date is flexible), and the position can be 8-weeks, 9-weeks, or 10-weeks in duration, depending on your start date.
