Recruitment Coordinator - The Up Center
 
 
 
To increase the impact of our numerous anti-poverty programs, particularly the provision of mental health services, by expanding and enhancing our staff recruitment and our volunteer program. Build sustainability into our volunteer program as we continue to focus on our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives to uplift marginalized populations. Recruiting more volunteers in niche groups, such as military spouses, people who are unemployed (including students), and underserved populations.

Member Duties : Partner with the Human Resources Officer and Recruitment & Retention Specialist regarding volunteer needs throughout the agency, researching and recruiting for specific volunteer positions with a focus on finding individuals who represent underserved populations not traditionally recruited as volunteers. This would include recruiting qualified Peer Recovery Support Specialists who are seeking volunteer hours to fulfill their state certification requirements.
