CNHED is a dynamic membership nonprofit that works to fight poverty by advancing equitable community economic development solutions in the District of Columbia for under-resourced communities. Our holistic systems-change approach encompasses community-informed budget and policy education, data-driven thought leadership, and needs-based programmatic initiatives in the areas of Housing and Homelessness, Workforce Development, and Small and Minority-owned Business Ecosystem Building. CNHED’s strength is in its convening power, highly successful public policy education, robust communications, and information sharing, and equipping its members with tools and resources for their work. The goal of the Digital Communications VISTA will be to develop and manage new digital communications.

Member Duties : The VISTA Member will work under the direction of the Senior Director of Communications to develop and launch a robust digital media approach for the organization, with components including but not limited to: social media campaigns, digital brand identity, online resources, and directories, templates and graphics. The VISTA Member will also work to streamline internal policies and procedures for communications projects so that the organization is more effective in serving the community.
