Indy AfterSchool Corps Spring Enrichment Coordinator
 
 
 
Indy AfterSchool Corps Enrichment Coordinators serve at community-based service locations in neighborhoods of high poverty. Responsibilities include providing education and career development programs to youth, ages 5 – 18 years; implementing daily activities including: mentoring, conflict resolution, health and safety, enrichment, food programs, field trips, clubs…etc.; recruitment and support of additional volunteers at sites to build organizational capacity; and spreading the AmeriCorps vision and visibility within the service site community.

Member Duties : Indy AfterSchool Corps Enrichment Coordinators will provide direct support services to youth ages 5-18 in areas of high poverty in the Indianapolis community. Members develop and implement academic success and enrichment activities. This position serves youth mainly during out of school time and after school hours. Members will serve about 20 hours per week during their service term and serve hours mainly Monday-Friday.
