2023 Habitat ReStore Marketing VISTA - La Crosse
 
 
 
The goal of the Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin VISTA Program is to build a better Wisconsin by assisting local organizations increase capacity and sustainability for programs focused on alleviating poverty, while developing new leadership to help strengthen Wisconsin’s communities and move them “forward.” With passion, commitment, and hard work, our VISTAs help affiliates bring individuals & communities out of poverty. Located along the beautiful Mississippi River, HFH La Crosse serves La Crosse, Vernon, and Trempealeau counties in western Wisconsin, and Houston County in Minnesota. Dedicated to bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope, HFH La Crosse has built over 40 homes since becoming an affiliate in 1992 and continues to improve housing conditions.

Member Duties : You will boost ReStore sales and generate funds to further Habitat’s mission of building & repairing homes for lower income families. You’ll develop & execute a marketing & social media plan for the ReStore. In addition, you will participate in the planning & organizing of a summer outdoor fundraising event. Activities include: 1)Developing a marketing & social media plan, adhering to Habitat branding guidelines. 2) Organize video, music, and photo content related to ReStore promotions. 3) Implement the social media campaign. 4) As part of the fundraising event team, develop and execute a volunteer management plan. Position is 30 hours/week. Housing assistance is available. This is a great opportunity to develop business/marketing skills in a professional setting and meet internship requirements. **Interviews are done on a rolling basis.
