Refugee Volunteer and Donations Specialist-Grand Rapids
 
 
 
Bethany Christian Services' Refugee Adult and Family programs aim to help refugees adjust to their new life in the United States. Volunteer and donations specialists work to recruit volunteers and find innovative ways to acquire donations need to aid in resettlement. Bethany's Grand Rapids office is looking for a self-motivated VISTA to help develop the donations and volunteer programs there. In particular, this donations specialist would recruit help from the community for volunteers and donations for the refugee clients.

Member Duties : 1) Develop partnerships with local community members including donors, to create a sustainable network of support. 2) Recruit volunteers and community support to resettle refugees in the greater Grand Rapids area. 3) Establish a sustainable system for tracking and storing donations for the Resettlement Program.
