Member Duties : Research state and federal nutrition programs like SNAP, EFAP, S-EBT, school meals, etc., to understand eligibility criteria, benefits amounts, barriers to access, and community impact. Strategize, organize, and implement pilot projects that directly address the gaps in the service of current nutrition programs.¿Monitor, record, analyze, and share data generated by the pilot projects to communicate the efficacy of the interventions and any best practices or lessons learned.Ensure information on food security programs is shared broadly with other direct service programs at United Way of King County so that families seeking any kind of support will be informed about the food resources available to them.
