Centrally Rooted Program Coordinator VISTA

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing programming, implementing financial sustainability opportunities, training direct service staff, & building community relationships. Located in a low-income neighborhood, Centrally Rooted is committed to developing confidence in those affected by poverty via all modalities of creative expression. We need your help as we grow! We are looking for someone that has a growth mindset, is passionate about the arts, has strong communication skills, and is intrinsically motivation to do this kind of work. This positions allows for some teleservice and some in-person. Candidate must live in the Dubuque and surrounding area. Assistance available for those relocating to the area. Position open until filled.

Member Duties : Recruit and train direct service providers for our Mindful Musicians programming. Assist in development of curricula and materials. Develop and expand a diversified funding stream to support financial sustainability. Improve and expand materials that support current programming and assist in development of curricula to further reach our low-income populations. Initiate efforts with other organizations for collaboration on programming, events, or grant opportunities to better serve the wider non-profit community in Dubuque.
