CAC AmeriCorps VISTA

CAC AmeriCorps is committed to changing people’s lives through environmental service, embodying the spirit of hope, improving communities, and making East Tennessee a better, more sustainable, place to live. CAC AmeriCorps leverages the skills, passions, and ideals of our members in addressing pressing social needs. This is accomplished through empowering each member to use their hands, heart, and mind to build capacity in our partner organizations and uplift the community. Members are trained to be effective capacity builders for organizations that address food insecurity, access to healthcare, education, and economic opportunity. CAC AmeriCorps members have the opportunity to truly immerse themselves in the local community, collaborate with one another to find creative solutions, and find comraderie in service.
