Member Duties : The AmeriCorps College Coach will support ANC's Student Support Services department with financial literacy, academic mentoring, social-emotional skill development, food and basic needs supports, and civic engagement opportunities, with an emphasis on retention, recruitment, and financial literacy. The member will support curriculum and program development to expand ANC's capacity to support the success and persistence of college students. The member will plan campus events, high school visits, and develop literature or presentations about the college. The ANC Student Support Services Project has been funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The Student Support Services Project is designed to assist in preparing qualifying students for college. This project will be an integral part in retaining, graduating, and transferring low-income, first-generation, and/or disabled students at ANC.
