Member Duties : As our VISTA, you will build our capacity to better serve residents in the Oberlin and Elyria communities. Collaborating with staff, volunteers, and food insecure households, you will ensure all voices are heard in discussions around food security systems. Recruiting and training volunteers, you will increase community engagement in our programming. You will also refine our communication strategy, building awareness around food insecurity. Finally, you will assess the impact of our programs providing healthy food to the community. Collecting feedback, you will strategize solutions for any identified gaps in our services. On our team, you will be engaged in local food justice efforts and propose creative solutions to unify food security work in our community. If you are passionate about empowering individuals and communities to achieve their goals and live healthier lives, this may be the role for you! **Benefits include a monthly $200 housing stipend to supplement living costs.**
