LKC: KCMS Health Equity Research Analyst VISTA
 
 
 
KCMS Foundation operates the WyJo Care and Metro Care charitable care programs that deliver donated specialty care to uninsured patients in the Kansas City area. Our Education-to-Employment coalition supports the development of multilingual, multicultural health professionals. Our Wellness and Prevention initiative has a physician-led committee working with the public health departments, health care providers and aligned organizations on projects to improve community health and illuminate pathways out of poverty.

Member Duties : The VISTA will collaborate with staff and stakeholders to enhance and develop health equity for uninsured patients in the Kansas City area. The VISTA will accomplish this by conducting research to support improved:access to healthcare, development of capacity-building methods for data collection, and identification of opportunities for improvement.
