PCCE- Blue Print Geneva (Economic Opportunity)

*Applicant will need to provide Covid-19 vaccine documentation* BluePrint Geneva, Inc. listens to neighbors and creates programs to meet identified needs. We test innovative solutions and learn quickly what works best and how to improve services. Though we are in the culinary capital of the Finger Lakes region, food scarcity and poverty affect many people in this "uniquely urban" small city. A VISTA member will work to take feedback already gathered and make connections and program improvements to make sure we are being responsive to community needs and to devise ways of measuring impact long term.

Member Duties : *Applicant will need to provide Covid-19 vaccine documentation* This is a Year 1 program focused on connecting a variety of programs related to food security and housing with innovative employment and volunteer opportunities. The VISTA will be determining the capacity for job training programs in conjunction with the efforts of BluePrint's existing programs and the work of the Geneva2030 cradle-to-career areas of focus. The VISTA will recruit and train volunteers, connect with community organizations to enhance partnerships, and will work to enhance social media for promoting projects and recruiting volunteers and participants. There is an expectation that the VISTA will be comfortable interacting with a variety of stakeholders--individuals and organizations--to plan a program implementation strategy including recruitment, training, scheduling, and evaluation and get community partner buy-in for launching said program.
