WellbeingNSport Program Coordinator

WellbeingNSport (WNS) is an exciting, innovative initiative designed to empower, educate and prepare individuals in sports to navigate and address discriminatory situations. The Sanneh Foundation facilitates this anti-discriminatory training through its separate WellbeingNSport initiative. The purpose of this training curriculum is to create a more inclusive, supporting and equitable environment for diverse youth and families by helping players, coaches, parents, program administrators and ecosystem stakeholders better understand issues of division and discrimination, and to develop competencies and skills to excel in inter-cultural environments both on and off the field. We affirm that sports like soccer can provide the opportunity for people from diverse backgrounds to unite around a shared goal or passion. The Sanneh WellbeingNSport Program Coordinator VISTA will help build organizational capacity by strengthening WellbeingNSport participation networks and training to improve overall program quality and sports-based anti-bias learning outcomes for the diverse participant pool of coaches and youth players in the WellbeingNSport programs. Sanneh WellbeingNSport Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of the program's products and services, including training sessions, educational materials, and community forum. The program manager would work closely with the executive director to ensure that the program is delivered effectively and meets the needs of participants. Initially they would also be responsible for managing the organization, including, as well as developing and implementing policies and procedures.
