Stewards VISTA: Harmony For Hope Year 1
 
 
 
VISTA Harmony's Kids Coordinator and preservation assistant at the Fayette County Community Arts Center will be responsible for the development and restoration processes of the Center. VISTA will plan, promote, and develop public programming at the Center to encourage further investment and buy-in from Mount Hope and outlying communities. The VISTA will train volunteers to guide historic trails and maintain historical signage. The VISTA will assist in grant research and writing and will serve as a liaison between Harmony for Hope and the Mount Hope City Council.

Member Duties : VISTA will: •Grant writes to meet the rehabilitation and preservation needs of the project. •Schedule quarterly events at The Center to encourage the community interest in the restoration project •the VISTA will be present and available to answer questions and let them onto the property. •Attend Mount Hope City Council Meetings every month. •Promote activities of the Center through social and print media. •Identify partners that could provide H4H with a good audience for educational events •Develop programming that will specifically interest and engage youth at the Fayette County Community Arts Center, encouraging a focus on Earth Science, art, music, & Appalachian heritage. •Develop a monthly newsletter about the happenings at H4H to be sent to supporters via email. •Create promotional material shared via social media, fliers, and broadcast media •Work with the Oakvale and Mount Hope Pizzazz Creators to begin the development of a monthly events calendar.
