BikeWalkKC Community Outreach Coordinator
BikeWalkKC’s mission is to redefine our streets as places for people to build a culture of active living. The Community Outreach Coordinator will work to engage residents in conversations about how increasing access to safe and more convenient transportation options can help eliminate poverty and build shared prosperity in historically disinvested neighborhoods.

Member Duties : In this position, your primary duties will include: - Building and maintaining partnerships with local agencies and associations through outreach and meeting attendance to increase awareness of BikeWalkKC. - Cultivating community support for increased transportation options that help eliminate poverty in neighborhoods where up to half of households do not have access to a car. - Supporting the work of the Policy and Community Planning programs to engage with communities in achieving their goals and aspirations for improving neighborhood quality of life. - Engaging in ongoing professional development during 5% of your time as a VISTA.
