Member Duties : In this position, your primary duties will include:
- Building and maintaining partnerships with local agencies and associations through outreach and meeting attendance to increase awareness of BikeWalkKC.
- Cultivating community support for increased transportation options that help eliminate poverty in neighborhoods where up to half of households do not have access to a car.
- Supporting the work of the Policy and Community Planning programs to engage with communities in achieving their goals and aspirations for improving neighborhood quality of life.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development during 5% of your time as a VISTA.
