NAMI SWI Marketing Director VISTA

Our Mission: NAMI Southwest Iowa helps families and individuals living with mental illness build better lives through advocacy, peer support, and education. The VISTA Marketing Director role, with the assistance of and in collaboration with current staff, will include creating content, developing campaign strategies, identifying target markets in need of our mental health support groups and education, and expanding reach and building exposure through social media and traditional marketing channels. With your help, we will increase our overall program support for and attendance at our mental health groups and educational programs. This position is open until filled. The ideal candidate must live in Iowa. This position is eligible for up to 90% teleservice. Some travel may be required. Apply now and help support the National Alliance for Mental Illness!

Member Duties : 1: PLAN: In this position, you will align our goals with an essential foundation through a smart, tactical communication plan. It will be essential that you document our organizational marketing strategy, define our target markets, and establish an annual campaign calendar. Additionally, you will outline the platforms and methods we will use to reach our varied audiences. 2: CREATE: You'll develop unique digital and print marketing materials with a cohesive look and feel for our programs and campaigns. 3: ENGAGE: Your work product and outreach will be essential in raising awareness, attracting new donors, promoting our events and programs, and raising funds through social and traditional media, and distribution of print material. You are a great fit for this position if you are inspired to help promote mental health programs, work well alone and within a team, are detail oriented, creative, organized, and a strong communicator.
