Community Supports Specialist

This project seeks to develop capacity to meet the needs of low-income newcomers and refugees within their first six months in the UnitedStates. This is part of the Refugee Resettlement team’s Transforming Welcome Initiative. This seeks to expand capacity in the areas of social, human and financial capital derived from local communities in support of newly arriving refugees. These efforts will support new refugee families and communities through sustainable, community-based solutions and partnerships which will create opportunities for refugees to connect, integrate, and access resources which they need to rise out of poverty and create a solid and self sustaining future.
